Today we had a guest come in called Ajeiandra Calres Tolra and gave a talk to us about her work and more specifically her most recent work 'Where we Belong' where she integrated her self in to the meetings of 'the Janeites' as went with them when they were living there fantasy in the world that Jane Austen gave them. Our day started by Ajeiandra talking to us about her work and the way she went around getting into this type of photography and the way she got talking to 'the Janeites'. We then moved onto the first activity
Response to Ajeiandra Tolra- Light
I wanted to have light as the main part of my pictures. Many because I have been looking at Nico Froehlich who is a photographer who uses light a lot in his pictures. Also by Ajeiandra her work is more photos of people in day light which is why they is a mixture of pictures.
12 Portraits
Today our task was to take 12 portraits in pairs. As Nico Frolich is coming into our school to talk to us about his work and also do a workshop with us. Me and my partner used the light in the studio to make interesting lighting to amplify the pictures.
Nico Froehlich
Nico Froehlich is a favourite photographer of mine one because his style of photography is a style that I tired and replicate. The second reason is that a lot of his pictures are taken near my house. For example the picture of the right is only 2 minutes away from my house. I see those block of flats everyday of my life but not from that he is taking the picture from (which is the fire station). I enjoy his photography as it is very simple and uses light to make the pictures more interesting.

Hicham Benohoud
Hicham Benohoud is a 55 year ago photographer from Marrakech. He is a French speaking Moroccan who still works and lives in Marrakech. The work that I am reviewing is a piece of work that he made between 1994-2002 of kids in a classroom. However he has got some of the students doing weird things that they would never find them doing that in their classroom.
This image is one of my favourites of this collection as

We tried to use light as much as possible. We did this by using the studio lights with gels on to give it colour and make it less

Nico Froehlich portarts
Today Nico Froehlich came to school and told us about his work and what he try's show with his pictures. The Pictures That I tooj were more snap shots as everyone said that they did not have much time I feel like everyone I asked did not have time which I think shows that people in London are to busy. However my favorite picture is the second picture of the man looking though the glass as i feel that him looking at the camera with his head slightly tilted but it is still a portrait. He also has a slight smile on his face in the picture which alos makes the picture not look as serious and it also shows that it is in a natural environment.
Deana Lawson
When I look at this picture I see three men in a house that looks like a old house in the UK. Two of the men are on the sofa and the other man is standing and his face has been covered by the artist. The man on the right sitting on the sofa has a thing in his mouth which is keeping it open. This man also has a joint in his hand and a lighter behind him. The man on the left has his right hand up in a gun position. This photo reminds me of UK drill music videos as a lot of them have freezes like this. In this picture the colour is many white at the top of the picture with the white walls and then the bottom half are browns the sofa and the floor. This makes it so it looks like the picture has two halfs. This imagine has a lot of interesting things in the picture but what I find most interesting is the man sitting on the sofa is covering some of the door and the door is open so it means that we can not see all of the door. The artist has used space well which has been done by having two men next to each other and the other man is standing on the right of the picture. I find the fact that the photographer has put the teeth on

In this picture I see a man in New York with a book in this mouth while trying to cross the road. This man looks like he is in a rush which is very typical for New York and the people in this city are very fast pace and have not much time for others. This is shown by the man not looking at the camera and looking just to the left. Which makes it seem appropriate for him being in New York and not paying attention to other people and trying to get on with his day. This photo reminds me of something you would see in a movie as the background is out of focus looks like he might have walked out of a bar.

Staged Natural?
The four photos for this homework that I took were hard to get as I tried to make them look as real as I could. I did this by watching my friends as they were walking and what they were doing. My friend was eating so I thought that him having the tissue up to his mouth would make it seem as real as it could. Because when someone is doing a action it just means that it looks realistic.
Questions
The photos that I find the most interesting out of my photos that I have taken are one of my film rolls as when developed the film went purple which for a lot of the pictures on the roll of film were ruined however some of them were even better then if they were in black and white as the colours of the picture work well with the purple of the film. The film that I was using at the time was black and white film that is developed in colour which is how the film had colour.

For my personal investigation I will be using film mostly black and white as this is the only one that I have tried but I think I will start to get some colour film as I feel like it can change the way you look at a image if its in colour which is why I would like to take images that look alike each other to see if people look at them differently. This would be the main objective of my project to show simple things and have them look interesting and something that a viewer will enjoy to look at.

I have looked at a lot of photographers however my favourite out of all of them is Nico Froehlich because he takes pictures like me and in a lot of the same places. Which is what I find the most interesting about the his pictures. His pictures is a lot of normal things and a lot of things that do not have anything special about them however he photographs it in away that makes them look very interesting

These pictures were my most recent film roll. I enjoyed taking these pictures and I tried to take pictures of the same type of thing. Which is nothing.
However nothing is always something and that the way you take the picture is the important thing.

Who have I been looking at.
I have been looking at two photographers that I find very interesting one being John Mayers and his boring photos project and also my teacher Mr N and his boring photos I find very interesting as they are pictures of nothing but still look so interesting and have so much about them.
